no playtime in the snow would be complete without a snowball fight, so the little two backed up against the fence and giggled excitedly as i tossed balls of powdery snow at them. and i promise that the snowball you see in that last photo landed right at isabel's feet -- not in her face like it looks like it's going to do!
the other "must-do" when it's snowing outside is to make a snow angel. abigail's the only one who didn't think i had lost my mind when i suggested laying down in the freezing wet icy snow, though, so we only have one angel to show for the day. (sadly, since it had only been snowing for an hour or so when we were out there, her snow angel doesn't really look anything like an angel. you can't even see much snow for that matter!)
enough talking, i'll just wrap this post up with some of my other favorites from the morning. (did i mention that i love shooting in the snow?)

When Steve saw the first pic of Abby, he said "beautiful little girl, scenery is incredible.. She should be a model". Nuff said.
