erika - family session

i can't even remember the first time i met erika, but in all of my old-age fuzziness, i do remember this one thing:  i've always thought that she was one of the most beautiful girls i've ever seen.  and i don't just mean plain-old beautiful -- i'm talking stunningly beautiful.  well here, see for yourselves...



and while a decade-plus of wrinkles have invaded my face, erika looks exactly like she did when we were in high school.  oh, except now she's got three spunky little kiddos by her side. 

erika's the only other one of our group who moved away from moultrie.  she lives in north carolina, but thankfully she was able to make the drive down for the weekend to join in the pictures and fun.  and after an evening of shooting photos with her darling crew, i've decided that they have more energy in each of their little toes than i've got on my best day.  we had so much fun snapping photos of their leaps and bounds!



i did manage to round them up long enough to grab a couple of family shots... 



but these last few are my favorites.  i'm a total sucker for photos of a momma and her babies -- makes me weepy.





erika, thank you over and over for driving all those hours to join us for the weekend.  i loved meeting your family, and it's official...you're as gorgeous as ever!
