M&Ms - sister session

i had to look back through my archives to remember when i first began working with this fantastic family.  i think it was around april of 2009, and at the time, there was just dad, mom, and big m.  here they were the first day we met...




it's been so wonderful for me to be able to continue working with this family as they've celebrated a pregnancy, birth, and a couple of family gatherings with 20 of their closest relatives.  when i shot a session with them last week, big m was just as beautiful and sweet as she's always been...



but at this particular session, there was a new little munchkin in the mix.  meet baby m...




rumor has it she was battling an ear infection that day, but you never would have known it.  she was a precious, smiley doll!



but the M&Ms weren't the only tiny tots there.  they had bunches of family in town, one of whom was little e.  this was their cousin shot almost one year ago...



and here they are today...

sweet!  but there was also another special lady that we wanted to be sure we added to the mix -- their great-grandmother.




i love those kinds of generation shots.  as always, friends, thank you for letting me spend the evening with you and those precious little girls.  i just love them.
