it goes down as one of the funniest moments i've ever had working with a family during a photo session...
mandy: what did ronald reagan say?
cady: mr. gorbachev, tear down this wall!
mandy: that's right! now what did richard nixon say?
cady (speaking with flamboyant gusto): i am not a crook!
it might sound like i'm quoting part of a conversation between a mom and her fifth-grade history student, but those aren't exactly the characters in this exchange. true, mom mandy was asking the questions, but student cady?
she's TWO YEARS OLD!
she runs, she climbs, she jumps...
she plays on the playground...
oh yeah, and she quotes famous speeches by former presidents. yeah, cady, i think it's hysterical, too!
the egglestons won a photography contest i did earlier this year, and while we had a super time that day, we all left dripping from the sweltering heat of a balmy summer day. but the weather for this session just couldn't have been any more perfect. LOVE the gorgeous leaves...
thank you, egglestons, for sharing a beautiful afternoon with me at the park. it was my pleasure to shoot photos with your sweet family.
oh, and before i go, i just had to share my new favorite daddy/daughter pic. :-)
