newton family

every once in a while you meet a family that, although you've never even laid eyes on them, you feel like you've known them for ages.  folks that you feel like you could be friends with away from the camera.  i had the joy of shooting just that kind of family over the weekend.  the newtons were relaxed, fun, and easy to talk to (not to mention that they're former bostonians so my red sox husband would be guaranteed to love them, too!).  

we were pretty sure that with 40 degree weather in december, we wouldn't have much color around us to work with, but thankfully, a couple of killer trees proved us wrong.




i don't know where it needs to be, but i should submit these two beauties for publication somewhere.  seriously.






i had such a fantastic time with you, newtons!  thank you, thank you, thank you for bundling up for the chill and meeting me for an hour of fun and photos.  you were great!



(random side note:  i would like to go on record as noting that ducks clearly have no appreciation of fine art.  there, i'm done.)
