amy and hunter - engagement session

we sat in a local coffeeshop sipping on mochas, getting to know one another.  she loves old black and white movies, they both ride horses, and they laugh.  a lot.  i already knew i loved them, and in my mind, all i could think was that i hoped they liked me.  as our conversation gradually turned to some specifics regarding the photography for their upcoming wedding, amy got all weird and giggly. 

she meekly asked, how do you deal with people who are really, really unphotogenic?

no sooner had i begun answering the question than she laughed, made a pouty face, and exclaimed, it's me - i never take good pictures!!

ummm.....show me that girl, amy, and i'll be happy to help her.  but she's nowhere to be found in these pictures.  all i see is stunning.





amy and hunter are like my dream couple.  they're loads of fun, they take direction so easily, and best of all, they're clearly in love.





if they looked this amazing at their engagement session, i absolutely can't wait to see them on their wedding day.



amy and hunter, what a joy it's been to meet and work with you.  i'm honored that i'll get to do this whole photography thing again with you in a short 82 days (did i get that right, amy?)  :-)
