stella - newborn session

most of the girls i've been shooting with lately are about five-and-a-half feet tall and have been wearing fabulous wedding gowns.  and as much as i ADORE shooting bridal sessions, there's always a little bit of a letdown when i can't publish any of the photos until after their wedding day (and trust me, these gorgeous gals can turn out some killer photos).  so i'm thrilled to now have a little lady whose pictures i can post now...and what the tiny model she is!



i fell in love with mary cate and joshua when i shot their wedding a while back, and i've now decided that the only thing better than a photo of that beautiful duo is a photo of this beautiful trio.



baby stella was a dream for our session, and she kept us giggling with her range of darling expressions.




and you know i'm not leaving a newborn session without some sweet shots of "baby parts" (many thanks to my friend, lacey of LB studios, for the perfect custom-made wrap)...




but of all the photos i took, i think this one of two stunning beauties wins the prize.  makes me a little weepy...



mary cate and joshua, i could have held your sweet daughter all day long.  you've been richly blessed, and i'm so thankful that you asked me to take part in welcoming baby stella into the world.
