the strevys - family session

one goes left.  the other goes right.  one heads forward.  the other heads back.  i think that probably happens more times than i could count in the strevy household right now.  with twin 16-month-old boys, life is always active, loud, and fun!  and man, did i have a blast at our session this weekend.  i can honestly say that i've never shot a session that i didn't enjoy, but the ones that keep me moving are my favorites.  and if there's one thing these little guys can do, it's go.


the afternoon didn't start out that way, though.  at first, they decided to stick close to familiar faces...


but i eventually lured gavin over with the little school chair. 


colin thought the crate was more his style, but he was happy to hold mindy close by.


she stole away long enough, though, to give both the boys a good laugh as she danced down the street with gavin on her shoulders.


i absolutely adore when families will just play around in front of the camera.  it always leads to such fun and unique shots.
