a friend of mine, andrea, who's on staff at brook hills asked me a few weeks ago to shoot the photos for a video the church was doing to spotlight adoption and foster care, and after a millisecond of thought, i think i blurted out "YES, YES, YES" and told her it would be an absolute joy for me to be involved in such a fantastic event. when the day came for us to shoot, not only did i get to meet some precious families from the church who are all in varying stages of adopting and fostering, but i also got to spend some time with andrea and her family (including their littlest who came home from ethiopia in january).

i'd love to show you the adorable face of this little guy, but because he's in a foster home right now, you'll have to make do with these. but trust me, if you want to know how much of a joy he is, take a look at the faces of his foster parents. they're pretty smitten.
