brooke and brandon

it was the session that almost never happened.  you name the crazy, off-the-wall, you've-got-to-be-kidding-me circumstance, and it struck us in scheduling.  but we rolled with the punches and wound up in the end with some sweet, sweet photographs of some precious little people.

i've been shooting brooke's pictures for a long time now, but her mom got in touch with me a couple of months ago for not only brooke's updated photos, but for their new addition, brandon's, as well.  far from the frigid chill of my last session with the little missy...



...it was somewhere around the 90-degree mark on this day.   blazing heat and high humidity do not happy children make, so while we waited on the sun to go down a bit, we set up shop right in the foyer and snapped away.



i kept telling connie that brandon has the sweetest, most expressive little face.  i could have eaten his chunky cheeks for dessert -- what a cutie!



and i happen to know that his big sister's pretty fond of him as well.  ;-)



i love these little darlings, and i look forward to watching them continue to grow.  thank you guys for having me over to play!  until next time...
