damia - gadsden session

i've never really thought about what it actually looks like, but the second damia bounded out of her mom's car for our session last week, i knew i was staring personality right in the face. 

i giggled to myself over the perfection of her darling outfit as a reflection of her darling personality.  bright.  cheery.  fun.  it's everything that damia is.




we spent a little while playing in the leaves together...



and then we moved over to the river for a change of scenery.





we were shooting in this awesome little strip of land by a piece of driftwood, but there were only about three feet between us and the water's edge.  not a big deal...until, that is, a speedboat raced by and sent waves splashing our direction.  these ended up being some of my favorite shots of the day.



meshonda, thank you, thank you, thank you for letting me spend such a fantastic afternoon with your precious daughter.  i had a super-duper time, and i think i might have gotten a new buddy out of the day.  :-)
