riley kate

the lord blessed matt and carlye immensely when he placed riley kate in their lives, and she's a gift that they certainly don't take for granted.  you don't even have to know them to see it...you just have to watch them.  





in one of our pre-session conversations, carlye told me, "when matt looks at our riley kate, his eyes just dance."  now i'm no expert, but i think i saw a lot of dancing going on during our time together.  ;-)




carlye brought along one of riley kate's and matt's favorite pastimes...



but puzzles and huge gusts of wind do not a peaceful time make.  eek!  so we moved on to RK's and mommy's special thing...



when i asked riley kate to give her daddy eskimo kisses as well, she gladly obliged but then had to gently break the news to matt that his eskimo kisses weren't quite as good as mommy's!



she clearly didn't hold it against him, though.



thank you guys so much for letting me spend some time capturing your precious family moments on film.  the love you have for one another makes me happy.  :-)
