rachel - maternity pictures

we were just a few minutes into shooting when she threw her head back with this uncomfortable sort of awkward giggle. 

i chuckled with her and asked, what's going on, rachel?

she looked right at me and confessed, we're the world's most unphotogenic people.  seriously.

little did rachel know that whenever clients say that to me, i take it as my personal mission to prove them wrong.  few words are needed to explain the following photographs:  gorgeous horse farm, darling baby bump, and enormously photogenic rachel and christopher.  that's about all you need to know.





several months ago when i did a maternity photos with rachel's sister, bethany, i begged somebody to buy me a hayfield because i was so in love with their family farm where we shot.  i've accepted that there probably isn't a hayfield in my future...so how about a horse farm?  please?

seriously gorgeous is what i'm thinking.  baby lyla is scheduled to arrive on the exact day i fly out to ethiopia, but you better believe i'll be dragging my jet-lagged self over to see her as soon as i get back.  i can't wait to get my camera on that sweet blessing!  thank you, rachel and christopher, for having me over to do maternity photos.  i simply can't wait until i get to come back for pictures with the three of you!
