the wards - family session

i don't remember exactly when i met them, but i do remember this:  our first session together consisted of a gentleman in need of head shots for an upcoming campaign, his beautiful wife, and their cute-as-a-button daughter.

a lot has happened since we last worked together.

the gentleman is now senator cam ward, his wife, julie, somehow got more more gorgeous, and somewhere along the road, their cute-as-a-button daughter blossomed into beautiful young riley.




i met the wards last week at american village for a sunny afternoon of photos, laughter, and fun.  despite what seemed like a decade of growth, riley still kept us in stitches, and we were able to grab a load of great shots.





i hadn't noticed it so much at our first session, but after seeing these photos, it's easy to see where riley's beauty comes from.  she looks just like her momma.




thank you, wards, for letting me spend such a fun afternoon with your wonderful family.  congratulations on all the super events of this last year, and riley, i hope your spend the night party was a blast!  ;-)
